Chendgu - China Trade Mission - October 2009

DLRCEB is delighted to once again be working with our Chinese partners, EUPIC. In October 2009, we  are bringing
a delegation of Irish companies to Chengdu (Sichuan province) to participate in the 4^th EU-China Business &
Technology Co-operation Fair, a business match-making event. This is the third time that we have arranged such
a visit, and past participants have found the visits very worthwhile.

We are travelling (from Dublin, via Amsterdam) on Wednesday, October 14^th and will return on Monday, October 19^th.

The match-making event takes place on October 17^th & 18^th. Companies travelling will also have the opportunity to visit the Western China International Economy & Trade Fair which starts on October 15^th.

Companies will be given the opportunity of specifying precisely the type of meetings which they would like to arrange and the type of Chinese companies that they would like to meet. Sectors covered are IT/ICT (including Digital Media), Machinery Manufacturing, Biomedicine, Environmental Protection/New energy, Building materials, Agriculture/Food & Packaging, Aerospace and Tourism.

Trade Mission - Package Details

We are offering an inclusive package for the visit for a total of €1,750.

This fee covers flights, accommodation, transfers, facilitation of arranged matchmaking meetings, English/Chinese interpretation at matchmaking meetings, pre-travel information seminars, some meals and a cultural visit. Qualifying companies can apply for the Board’s Export Marketing assistance, which can cover up to 50% of the price quoted above.

A Registration Deadline of Saturday,August 1^st 2009 applies. There is an additional fee of €200 for registration after this date.

Free Information Seminar - Tuesday, July 28th

We are holding an information session about the visit, and about doing business in China on Tuesday, July 28^th 2009, in Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel, Killiney - 10am-12.30pm (followed by a light lunch).
