Bid Management Service Takes Overall Winner Award!

A Sandyford-based tender management company,
which has won €200 million worth of business for clients in the last year, took the Overall Winner Award at the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Awards held on Tuesday, 20th September in Dun Laoghaire.

Bid Management Services, founded by Joanne Gillen and Peter Brennan, manage bid projects, proposals and response documents for public and private sector tenders. The company, which started off in a spare bedroom office in 2008, now employs seven full-time and three part-time staff in Sandyford Industrial Estate.

Organised by the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Enterprise Board, the awards took place during its ‘Fly Higher: Celebrating and Inspiring Enterprise’ event at the Royal Marine Hotel in front of over 200 guests. An Cathaoirleach, Cllr. John Bailey, was guest of honour at the ceremony.

Bid Management Services will represent the County at the National Finals of the County & City Enterprise Awards, to be held in Dublin Castle this November. 

Each year, the County & City Enterprise Boards across Ireland stage the National Enterprise Awards competition to recognise the entrepreneurial talent of micro-enteprise owners.
