Innovation Award - Eddie Carty & Mark Allen, Captiva Software (www.captivasoftware.ie)
Captiva Software was established in 1997. It develops software for the hospitability sector. In particular, it develops pc-based Point of Sale (POS) systems for the restaurant and fast food sectors. Two-thirds of their turnover is derived from the fast food sector. The restaurant sector accounts for the other third. In September 2004, undertook a feasibility study into the development and sale of hand held ordering terminals.
Internationally Traded Service Award -
Mark Russell & David Mullally, Attention to Detail (www.attention-to-detail.com)
The two promoters founded Attention to Detail Ltd in April 2000. It is a corporate event management company which specialises in the organisation of motor yacht events. Many of it events take place in the South of France and its clients include British Airways, UBS and O2. During 2003/04, they created a portfolio of golf, wine and spa events.

Vanessa & Tim Greenwood, Cooks Academy (www.cooksacademy.com)
The promoters run a cookery school in Dun Laoghaire. Started in early 2005, its courses now include; “Introduction to Thai Cookery”, Introduction to Thai Cookery” and “Basic Cookery Course - Homestyle Food”.

Fun Fitness Ltd operates from leased premises in the Total Fitness Complex on Blackglen Road in Sandyford. It comprises a children’s activity centre as well as a drop in and full day care facility for parents in the local community.
The Relocation Bureau was established in December 1998. The company provides professional relocation services to companies relocating employees into or out of Ireland.
All of the finalists received Board support in the form of funding, training, networking or one-to-one mentoring.
