Each year, our Board makes available web site development funding for small businesses operating
in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown county.
Funding Options
1. STARTER Grant covers 50% of eligible costs up to a Max of €1,000 (excl. VAT).
For businesses creating a straight-forward brochure website.
2. ACCELERATOR Grant: covers 50% of eligible costs up to a Max of €2,500 (excl. VAT).
For businesses creating a more comprehensive, e-commerce enabled website.
Terms & Conditions (Selected)
- Only Third Party costs qualify i.e. cost of work you have commissioned others to do.
- Eligible Costs include domain registration, hosting, web site development & site promotion activities. Other related web development hardware & software costs which can directly support your business’ online expansion will be considered.
- You must submit a completed application form to our Board prior to any expenditure being incurred i.e. Any expenses incurred prior to your application are not eligible.
- Our Board will issue a cheque once we have received proof of payment in respect of any approved expenses. Invoices alone are NOT acceptable.
- Our board will not cover the VAT element of any expenses.
- This is a competitive application process.
Application Process - Please Read
- The current round of funding was launched on Monday, February 8th 2010.
- The application deadline is 5pm on Friday, February 19th 2010.
- All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by Friday, March 26th 2010
- Please note that there is a limited amount of funding available and that all applications will be subject to an eligibility criteria. Successful applicants must be in a position to drawdown down any approved amounts by no later Friday, July 30th 2010. All offers will expire after this date.
