Software Company Scoops Overall Winner Award!
A Dun Laoghaire-based technology company that provide solutions to some of Ireland's biggest educational institutions collected the Overall Winner
award at the County Enterprise Awards for 2009,
organised by DLR CEB.
Margaret Ballot of Vidatum Technologies, which also have offices in Amman in Jordan, collected the award from Michael Johnson, CEO of DLR CEB and Cllr Marie Baker, Cathaoirlach, DLR County council at an awards ceremony in County Hall on September 15th 2009.
7 short-listed businesses shared a prize fund of €10,000. Category prizes awarded included
Most Promising Start-Up, Technology Award, Best Female Entrepreneur and
Marketing Award amongst others. The overall winner will now progress to the National Awards final to be held in Dublin Castle in November.
Each year, the County & City Enterprise Board across Ireland stage the
National Enterprise Awards competition to recognise the entrepreneurial talent of micro-enteprise owners.
