Overall Winner Award - Mark Rodgers, Cipherion Translations (www.cipherion.com)

Formed in 2006 and located in Tibradden, Cipherion Translations offers translation and localisation solutions to
meet all corporate requirements. The company provides clients with access to a global team of localisation experts who
can assist in successfully communicating to a global audience. The business delivers translation solutions in over 40 languages.


Innovation Award - Mark Dargan & William Redmond, Reddar Ltd (www.tacutext.ie)

Tacutext is a mobile phone messaging service. Designed for use by primary and secondary schools as well as sports and community organisations, teh application enables teachers, coaches and group leaders to send important text messages simultaneously to all subscribers in their group. Actions such as event cancellations, delays or changes are notified directly to teh participants in seconds. Reddar Ltd was formed in 2006 and is based in NovaUCD, Belfield.


Female Entrepreneur Award - Anne Mette O'Connor, AMOC (www.amoc.ie)

The promoter is a qualified goldsmith and bespoke jewellery designer who established her business in 2003. Mette specialises in the study of gemstones and diamond grading and designs handmade jewellery for private and corporate clients as well as for the wholesale trade. She also offers gemstone consultancy and exhibits at fairs in Ireland, Denmark and her native Australia.


Most Promising Start-Up Award - Ron McNamara, Driver Focus (www.driverfocus.ie)

Driver Focus was started in 2006 in Dun Laoghaire. The business helps employees manage their drivers' skills and well being. FleetFit™ si a US-patented, web-based programme the company deploys to assess and develop driving-related cognitive skills. The software identifies low, medium and high-risk drivers and their key abilities - attention, reaction time, visual scanning and memory - are improved through personalised training.

 

Export Award - Dualta Moore, Software Asset Management Ireland (www.sami.ie)

Software Asset Management Ireland is a leading specialist provider of information learning technology. The business focuses on the provision of total computer solutions including education software, cable and hardware. Over the next decade, it aims to enable all students to benefit from personalised learning through technology. The Sandyford-based company was formed in 2003. 

 

Online Marketing Award - Eamonn Grant, Flowers Made Easy (www.flowersmadeeasy.ie)

Flowers Made Easy is a family owned business that boasts over 25 years of floristry experience. Formed in 2001, the business supplies flowers and plants to individuals, businesses and retail outlets in Dublin. The company has a direct link to teh auction houses in Holland as well as teh best growers and nurseries in Ireland and the UK. Their online ordering system enables people to buy gifts with their flowers for all occasions. Flowers Made Easy are located in Sandyford,

Started in 2006 and Sandyford-based, Ireland's No.1 Overseas Property portal, myoverseasproperty.ie, provides a complete listing of the best overseas properties sales and letting from Ireland's leading overseas property agents. The site includes free, unbiased advice and incorporates a host of specialised services such as commercial and legal due diligence packages as well as tax, legal and overseas mortgage information.

 

Merit Award - Sharon McCready, One Stop School Shop (www.onestopschoolshop.ie)


Started in 2007 and based in Rathfarnham, One Stop School Shop is a web-based retailer which brings together all of a child's school requirements in one place. Visitors to the site can select from hundreds of product categories for boys and girls, allowing trips to the uniform, stationery, sports and shoe shops to be replaced by a few mouse clicks.
